All devices are forged from recycled aluminium in Apple’s increasingly impressive effort to lower their carbon footprint. #Apple keynote 2019 september full#While the overall design is the same, the new iPads will now use Apple’s latest iPad OS - which, according to the brand, has been created to take full advantage of the tactile and portable nature of the iPad. The entry-level iPad now gets a 10.2” retina display along with a stronger A10 Bionic processor making it the fastest in the iPad range (not including the Pro models). While it’s not a major technological breakthrough, it will go on to make using the watch, a much easier experience. The ‘always-on’ feature comes as a welcome change for users who find it hard to access the watch’s graphic-heavy interface especially when they’re unable to flick their wrists for example, when they’re holding on to something or working out. The Series 5 is now also available in ceramic and titanium, in addition to the standard aluminium and stainless steel models. This has allowed Apple to offer the feature without using up any additional battery life, retaining the Series 4’s claimed 18-hour battery life. While retaining the shape and form of the Series 4 watch, the latest-generation Apple Watch gets some serious performance mods which make everyday usage a lot easier, chief of which is the ‘always on’ function which keeps any watch face on perpetual display, albeit in a low-light mode and thereby consuming less energy. All phones also come with a new ‘spatial audio’ feature which enhances the overall audio quality to give a surround-sound effect that’s been developed in collaboration with Dolby. In addition to this the iPhone 11 Pro gets what the brand calls ‘Super Retina’ display and an A13 Bionic processor with four efficiency CPU cores which increase its performance by 20%, officially making it the fastest performing Smartphone ever. The iPhone 11 Pro’s camera gets enhanced shutter speed and, just like the iPhone 11, it gets a front-facing 12MP camera with slow-motion video taking abilities or what Apple calls ‘slowfies’.
